Artist's Bio
Sarah Ellen had absolutely no intent on becoming a visual artist. Instead she stuck to the stage, her books, and of course, daydreaming inside her own head. It was pure dumb luck that she got her hands on an iPad and, in a desperate attempt to procrastinate from doing her day job, she started to draw, and draw, and draw. Now here we are, some years later with a collection of digital images inspired by the people and places within Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Sarah is a storyteller by nature, so each image endeavors to reflect a person, place, or feeling. Any subjects and individuals the artwork is based off of have given permission for their likeness to be used.
